The Mississippi Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (MAFCS) shares the vision and mission of the national association - the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS).

The MISSION of AAFCS is: “to provide leadership and support for professionals whose work assists individuals, families, and communities in making informed decisions about their well being, relationships, and resources to achieve optimal quality of life.”

The 2013 MAFCS Annual Meeting will be held at

the Clinton Bristow Jr. Dining Facility

on Alcorn State University campus February 15, 2013.

The theme for this upcoming meeting will be

"Embracing and Managing Change through

Family and Consumer Sciences."
