Personal Protection Equipment, commonly referred to as PPE is equipment worn to minimize exposure to hazards that cause serious workplace injuries and illnesses. PPE is a main source of protection for emergency and recovery workers. Asking questions, searching for clues, discovering uncharted paths, hitting dead ends, discovering hidden leads, and pursuing every trace of information are critical aspects of historical research. Often, documents are the only evidence available to historical researchers, but they can yield a treasure trove of information if one knows how and where to look. This session will focus on using documentary resources to uncover FCS history.
