INDIANA ASSOCIATION OF FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES
2019-2020 SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION AND APPLICATION
The Indiana Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship has been established for the purpose of recognizing excellent scholastic achievement, leadership, and participation in family and consumer science activities.
Three INAFCS Scholarships are available each year, the amount to be determined annually. One scholarship will be awarded to a student in each of Indiana's state supported institutions that have a degree granting program in Family and Consumer Sciences.
Full-time undergraduate students at Indiana's state institutions that grant degrees in family and consumer sciences are eligible for this award. Up to one student at each eligible institution may be awarded the scholarship.
Eligible universities will determine awardees based on the criteria noted below.
Criteria:
- Applicants for the scholarship must be student members of the AAFCS/IN Affiliate.
- Applicant shall have a B grade point average or better on all college work.
- Applicant shall be a major in some area of Family and Consumer Sciences.
- Applicant shall be a full-time student and have definite plans for a professional career in Family and Consumer Sciences.
