About the Session
With the uncertainty of the school year due to COVID-19, this information will be vital for teachers in order to learn how to create engaging virtual videos to incorporate into their lesson plans. Webinar participants will gain an understanding of the free recording program OBS Studio and how to use it while video conferencing. Participants will be guided on how to use this tool to creatively record footage for use in video lessons. This professional development session will be engaging and interactive and will be beneficial for both in-person and online learning platforms.

Participants will:
- Participants will be able to use the information to edit recorded videos for the classroom or other educational venues.
- Participants will be able to implement material presented into different applications and gain an understanding of how to transfer material to the new platform

About the Presenter(s)
Mrs. Heather Palm is a military spouse, mother of two boys, and Home Management Specialist. Heather was a career switcher in 2018. In 2019-2020 Heather was selected as New Teacher of the Year Award at Herndon High School. Heather is an FCCLA Advisor and Student Intervention Team Member Herndon High School.
Mrs. Lauren Spector was a career Switcher from a Social Worker in 2017. Lauren is was selected as 2018-2019 New Teacher of the Year Award at Herndon High School. Lauren is an FCCLA Advisor. Lauren is currently enrolled at George Mason University in the Masters of Educational leadership and Supervision program.
Brock Palm is a Rising Senior at George Marshall High School. Brock has four years of experience with video production.
